If "Mystery in a Corner" doesn't go with your colors I'm sure I can find a place for it in my home because it would work with my house colors... LOL!

I think it's a great idea to put it away until you know what to do with the project. Another thought is have you considered donating it to a local charitable organization who might be able to use it to decorate their facilities? Just a thought... :-)

And I do understand finishing the stitching on projects but not actually having them finished into anything... You ought to see my collection of stitched but unfinished projects! That's one of my goals for next year.

Cynthia
Windy MeadowCynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16815507581216920872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2825879933907079057.post-16822370380872922672008-08-06T00:42:00.000-04:002008-08-06T00:42:00.000-04:00No wonder Jane is disappointed in not getting Scot...No wonder Jane is disappointed in not getting ScottLee. Served on the tea tray of course! Prepare to be inundated!!!

It will take me a while to save up the airfare, so don't put the kettle on just yet.

It really is gorgeous, Jeanne.

Jocelyn in NZAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2825879933907079057.post-89140862915120435482008-08-05T11:24:00.000-04:002008-08-05T11:24:00.000-04:00I am not surprised that the ScottLee tea tray will...I am not surprised that the ScottLee tea tray will not be coming to Chilly Hollow to live. It's really beautiful! I can't wait to see the final product because I can't find an image of a finished version anywhere.

As for the Mystery project, put it away. Eventually you will discover a recipient or use for it....

Jane, dramatically weeping in Chilly Hollow [BG]The Chilly Hollow Needlepoint Adventurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10226040212425559526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2825879933907079057.post-23593967609249998272008-08-05T10:41:00.000-04:002008-08-05T10:41:00.000-04:00This is beautiful, and you have made a great deal ...This is beautiful, and you have made a great deal of progress! I think a tea tray is a great idea!

The colors in the mystery block aren't really me, either, and I can relate to having a pile of finished, unfinished pieces that you just don't quite know what to do with. I usually fish things out of that pile for last minute gift ideas...!Mary Corbethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12784249791065857006noreply@blogger.com
