Happy Dance: Strawberry Girl

Yes, she's done! Actually, I couldn't put her down Saturday night, and ended up finishing the pulled work on the petticoat at 2AM Sunday morning!

This piece was a lot of fun, but I'm going to wait before starting any of the other girls. I need to finish too many things, plus I've got some pre-work to start for a class with Carolyn Mitchell in November.

On my lap stand now: my project from seminar, Chris Berry's Tudor-Style Purse.

She has turned out well, Jeanne. Beautiful! Of course, "you-know-who" is still my favourite embroidered lady, but there is no denying that one is right up there too. :)
The tudor-style purse sounds interesting, and the picture you gave us of your work so far, was a real teaser - I am looking forward to see more about this.

This is simply lovely. I'm sure the rest of them are as well. Always look forward to your exquisite stitching. How is the tea tray coming? I need some tea. :-)

This is gorgeous, Jeanne. GayAnn has you to thank for convincing me I need all the "girls". I was hoping to resist, but after watching your progress and completion I must have at least Strawberry Girl, if not all of them.

She is lovely, isn't she? Are you going to stitch them all as a set?

Anyway, nice job.

Strawberry Girl is just gorgeous!! Your stitching on her is just beautiful and you inspire me to really want this pattern. It reminds me of a time when a dear friend and I used to go and pick strawberries! It is so pretty!
